          ANNOUNCEMENT FOR HAM RADIO COURSE

The Anderson Radio Club will sponsor a free Technician Class amateur radio license course on January 28^th and 29th at the Starr Fire Station on SC Hwy 81. The Technician Class is the beginning basic license in amateur radio and there are no age or educational prerequisites.

 On the 28^th the class will begin at 8:30 AM and finish about 4:30 or 5:00 PM and lunch will be provided. On the 29^th the course will begin at 1:30 PM and finish up around 4:30.

This course will be free, except for the course book which can serve later as a reference for the student. The course book will cost $29.95 from the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and must be ordered 2 weeks before the course.
